I've been playing competitive Pokémon on Showdown for over a decade, and I've always thought there's so much unrealized potential in the tools available for serious players. Most options are either clunky, awkward to use, or don't work anymore.
crob.at is my attempt at fixing that. It started as a simple team-sharing tool and grew into a small suite of utilities: random teams from real usage data, format galleries, counters.
I'm a software engineer, and I've been on Showdown since gen 6. I've spent enough time on the Ubers and AG ladder to know how rare good players are, and I blame the lack of ways to do deliberate practice. This site is my way of chipping away at that.
