Generate a Pokémon Champions doubles team

This generator uses the current Pokémon Champions VGC-style ruleset and usage data to create a complete six-Pokémon doubles roster.

Random teams are best used for discovery and practice. Look for speed control, compatible leads, and shared weaknesses before taking a roll into a serious match.

What to check in a generated Champions team

Identify at least two compatible lead pairs instead of treating every Pokémon as an isolated set.
Make sure the roster can change the speed order with Tailwind, Trick Room, priority, or another clear plan.
Check for Protect access, spread-move counterplay, and repeated weaknesses across the six slots.

Generate a team for Pokémon Showdown

Choose a format and select Generate. The generator picks six Pokémon and their sets from Smogon usage statistics. Common Pokémon and sets are more likely to appear. Check the date above the team to see which month's data it uses.

OU (Overused)

Smogon's main singles format. The most-played tier on Pokémon Showdown.

Pokémon Champions

Pokémon Champions VGC 2026 Reg M-C uses Pokémon Champions rules on Pokémon Showdown. Bring six Pokémon and choose four for each battle, with two active at a time.

UU (Underused)

Pokémon that aren't common enough for OU but still compete in a deep meta.

Ubers

Gen 9 Ubers is a six-Pokémon singles format that allows many Pokémon banned from OU. Ubers still has its own rules and ban list.

Doubles OU

Gen 9 Doubles OU uses all six Pokémon in each battle, with two active at a time. It uses Smogon's rules and ban list for Scarlet and Violet.

National Dex OU

OU with Pokémon and moves from all previous generations re-enabled.

Copy, save, or share your team

Copy team text copies the full team to your clipboard. In the Showdown Teambuilder, open Import/Export, paste the text, and save.
Save to Showdown saves the team to your linked Showdown account. If needed, you will first sign in or link Showdown. This step also creates an unlisted crob.at page so you can continue after sign-in.
Create share link creates an unlisted team page and opens your device's share menu. If no share menu is available, it copies the link.
Create team page creates an unlisted team page and opens it. You can see the full sets and save the team from that page.
Roll again generates another team.

Anyone with an unlisted link can open it. The team stays out of Browse Teams and search. Copy team text does not create a team page.

The date above each generated team shows the month of its usage data. Available data can differ by format and may be older than the latest month.
